Volcus was a volcanic planet located in the Khadaji System approximately 5.15 light-years Trailward-Coreward from Earth.[1]
History[]
Geologically speaking, Volcus was a recently coalesced planet in the cooling phase of its development. As such, the surface was a living hell of sulfur, magma, and hot gases. Automated power stations located on the planet’s magma seas drew in geothermal energy and transmitted it to the local V-23 orbital collector and relay station.[2]
Climate[]
Volcus' climate was full ash, pyroclastic flows and scouring heat, with a mean temperature of 400°C. The atmosphere was corrosive composed of sulfur, and other hot gases. Volcus' surface was terrestrial, and featured magma seas and volcanic islands.[2]
Economy[]
Volcus' key resources included geothermal energy, bauxite, gold, diamonds, base and rare earth metals.[2]
Points of interest[]
There was many automated power stations floating on the planet's magma seas.[2]
