"I think I've found Vincent!"
David (from Alien3 Assembly Cut)

Vincent was an inmate at the Fiorina "Fury" 161 Class C Work Correctional Unit, one of several who stayed behind after the facility was officially closed down by Weyland-Yutani. He was involved in battling a lone Xenomorph that was born in the prison in 2179.

Behind the Scenes

Vincent is only named in the extended Assembly Cut of the film. However, it is not clear exactly who is Vincent in either cut of the movie. Prior to the bait-and-chase sequence in the foundry when he is apparently killed, all of the remaining survivors gather in a large room to discuss the plan. The group consists of Aaron sitting on the fence, Ripley and Dillon standing in front of the others, Troy, Gregor, David and Eric seated on the floor, William, Jude and Kevin in the lower alcove in the wall and Morse in the higher alcove in the wall; there is no sign of Vincent. While it is possible Vincent is simply absent from the meeting, it seems unlikely that anyone would wander off alone away from the group at this time. Moreover, in the scene immediately prior to this in the Assembly Cut, the remaining prisoners gather in the assembly hall (while Ripley and Aaron are contacting Weyland-Yutani after the Runner's escape) and again the same inmates are seen with no sign of Vincent.

There are several unidentified prisoners seen earlier in the film (and one of these is named Vincent in the script and novelization of the film[3]) but none of these are in either of the scenes mentioned above. Consequently, it could be argued that Vincent was killed far earlier than his body is discovered, although this again seems unlikely as a man can be heard screaming shortly before Vincent's body is found. Moreover, the Assembly Cut shows that the the survivors do not move to the foundry until the plan to drown the creature in lead is devised, and it also makes it clear that the foundry is a considerable distance from the area where the inmates had been located previously. As a result, it seems doubtful that anyone would go there alone before this.
