War Drones(or warrior drones) are a permanent stage between a Drone and a Warrior.

Appearance and Biology
Like Drones, War drones prefer stealth instead a recklessly throwing themselves at an enemy in troves. The are black versus the blue-sh black of a drone and are not 8 feet, being the same height as a Runner.
Like a Warrior, they are strong and feirce in combat, with lightly ridged domes and bladed tails. They cannot spit acid, unlike their Metallimorph counterparts. They don't evovlve into Praetorians or Queen mother's because their status between and Warrior and a Drone confuses and cancels out their pheremones to do so.
War Drones have a feature all their own that no Drone or Warrior shares: Their ridged heads contain spikes that can easily be weaponized.
