On the ship at the beginning of Alien v.s. Predator 2, there is an unknown predator who tries to kill the Predalien but in doing so causes the ship to crash on Earth when he fires his shoulder-cannon. He died after he activated a distress beacon when the Predalien's stabbed its inner jaw into his skull, killing him instantly.

Later, Wolf finds the ship and the dead predator. Seeing his body, Wolf kneels and bows his head sadly in respect. After seeing footage of the Predalien through the unknown predator's helmet, Wolf takes the predator's shoulder-cannon with him before destroying the downed predator ship.

• The scene where the predator bows his head, is one of the scenes where predators show feelings, like Scar does in AVP1, when he lets Weyland live because of his sickness.
