"The Private" was an un-named member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps. He was stationed at the Weyland-Yutani research station built around the Derelict on LV-426 and was involved in the Xenomorph outbreak there. He is the playable Marine character in the 1999 video game Aliens versus Predator.

Biography Edit

He was left behind by his fellow Marines because of his "bad sleeping habits". He awakens from a nightmare by an alarm. He fought his way through Aliens and Predators throughout LV-426, an orbital platform and finally the USS Tyrargo only to be left for dead by Weyland-Yutani in the infested ship. His fate is unknown because even though he survived an attack by a queen and sent her into outer space through an air lock, there were traces of a xenomorph's presence in a nearby vent.

EquipmentEdit

He was equipped with a helmet and the M3 personal armor with green camouflage and a "padlocked heart" insignia on it, similar to Hicks' in the intro scene. However it will have a skull symbol similar to Hudson's just like many other NPC marines in both the game and in AVP3. His weapons are variable, with the M41 Pulse Rifle being his main weapon.
