• The glowing parts.

If it so happens that the acid glows or is produced in the glow glands on this Alien that it is not the default type acid used by the species? The reason I am saying this is because the majority of the species acid does not glow. See the Aliens can use any acid the so choose because of the Bio-Imperative.

  • Acid Trivia.
    • Acids do not interact with molecules and compounds in the same way alike. One super acid actually absorbs/strips the calcium from things its touching ergo it gets on your arm you meat becomes burgers, your bones have the calcium sucked out of them.

Check out the other acids. They all have different ho values but they also have different effect on different materials. So it goes without saying that if the acid that the spitter spits is glowing that acid is not going to be the same standard acid aliens use for blood because it has chemically changed.--WAVE (talk) (Contribs) 20:02, October 11, 2012 (UTC)

praetorian or drone improvement

I wonder if it is a praetorion but uses acid as its mai attack and I bet if you shoot those acid sacs acid will goe everyware173.228.64.59 16:02, November 13, 2012 (UTC)pr97

I very much doubt that it's a Praetorion. If it were, then it would most likely be around the Hive, instead of in the field. Also, Praetorions are very hard to kill, unlike the Spitter, which can be killed in a couple of Pulse Rifle Shots. Dannylaz (talk) (Contribs) 15:57, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

I agree with Dannylaz the Spitter is too small and frail to be a Preatorian, it's most likely a Drone variant that evolved to burrow through it's environment and to attack at range.Wrath425 (talk) (Contribs) 21:15, February 15, 2013 (UTC)

Do you think it may be a Human Spawned Xenomorph & something was; Diffirent about the Host? Or if it is a Drone do you think there would have to be Spisific Requirements for it to 'Mutate'/'Evolve'? And if it is a Drone, Would it Evolve into something like a Warrior? Cause I think it was a Drone that Evolved like Wrath425 said but the  Spitter is it's Warrior Form.Arigro 'Vadum (talk) (Contribs) 06:01, June 22, 2013 (UTC)

A spitter can't be a Praetorion because it is to weak and attacks from a distance.Deathblade 100 (talk) (Contribs) 21:59, September 24, 2014 (UTC)

I've seen you before...

Didn't this species of Xenomorph appear in the 2010 AVP game?? Brian (talk) (Contribs) 08:16, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

No, that was the "jungle alien", its supposed to be a Runner, a Xenomorph variant which can spit acid. The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 20:16, July 13, 2013 (UTC)

Okay, thanks. Brian (talk) (Contribs) 09:09, July 21, 2013 (UTC)

Where does the weight information come from? Because the Spitter the Crusher and the Boiler all have the same weight of 1500 lbs according to their pages. Toa Quarax (talk) (Contribs) 23:29, August 2, 2013 (UTC)

That doesn't make sense. You'd think a Crusher would be heavier. Deathblade 100 (talk) (Contribs) 22:00, September 24, 2014 (UTC)

Possible Explanation of Origin

When you first encounter these in Stasis Interrupted, Dr. Levy will comment that they are a subspecies. 02:19, August 3, 2013 (UTC)

Wouldn't all Xenomorph castes be counted as subspecies? Iamtheravager (talk) (Contribs) 13:46, May 23, 2016 (UTC)iamtheravager

Where did you get the name "Ranger" from? Because, I have never heard or seen that name anywhere in game. Deathblade 100 (talk) (Contribs) 20:24, February 8, 2015 (UTC)
