I'm not so sure this page (or any of the planets in the Solar System, except for Earth) is really needed. Yes, Jupiter shows up on-screen in 'Alien Resurrection', but who cares? The page as it stands doesn't state a single thing that's actually franchise-specific, not even a source for where Jupiter appears in the franchise. I could see a case being made for Earth and Luna having their own pages because there's a good amount of franchise-specific things associated with those two locations, but places like Jupiter or Pluto? Not so much.
Even if this Jupiter article was pared down to just franchise-specific things, what would it say? "The USM Auriga flew by Jupiter on its way to Earth". One sentence, and it's something that's readily obvious to anyone that watched the movie. That sentence would be better placed, say, on the USM Auriga page when talking about its return trip to Earth, and if there was any real confusion among readers about what "Jupiter" was, just hotlink the word to the appropriate Wikipedia page. - I'm inclined to agree with you. I know I've been editing these pages recently, but that was mostly to get them looking more presentable. I wouldn't have a problem with them being deleted. Although, as you say, Earth and Luna probably have an argument for staying. Possibly Titan too, if a source for the info regarding its colonization in the Alien universe can be found.--Leigh Burne (talk) (Contribs) 08:08, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
