Planet size
Edit
Went ahead and fixed LV-426's diameter. In a deleted scene and in the script and whatnot, Lambert says LV-426 is 1200km in diameter, but that number makes no sense and defies the laws of physics and orbital mechanics. In the Colonial Marines Technical Manual, LV-426's diameter is given as 12,201km which makes a lot more sense for something with .86 gravity and being able to hold an atmosphere. Prometheus
Edit
Prometheus is out and the connection is reveal, when will it be written in here? 121.219.178.166 15:11, June 11, 2012 (UTC)
Prometheus is not set on LV-426, it is set on LV-223. Nothing in the film leads directly into Alien, it just has the same ships as the derelict and Engineers (space jockeys)The Cruentus (talk) (Contribs) 16:22, June 11, 2012 (UTC)
The surface temperature of LV-426 is 'absolute zero'? I'd like to see a source for this, as it sounds like BS. Either its horribly scientifically inaccurate, or someone is making things up. I may have overlooked it if the section said '-100' or somesuch other improbable figure, but absolute zero (i.e. -256) is way out.
