The stun baton is a type of baton that produces electric shocks after touching an item or creature. They are typically used against pests aboard space ships and space stations,[citation needed] although they can also be used to temporally stun Synthetics such as Seegson Working Joes and even take down humans.
A stun baton was used by Amanda Ripley in 2137 aboard Sevastopol Station.
