- "You're all under arrest for a code 8, which is concealed weapons, and a code 12, which is murder! Release Dr. Wren! Put down your weapons and assume the fucking..."
- ―The soldier, to the Betty crew (from Alien Resurrection)
The "soldier shot through helmet" was a soldier stationed aboard the United Systems Military vessel USM Auriga.
Biography
The soldier was among the men who accompanied Dr. Wren to the recreation hall aboard the Auriga when he confronted the crew of the Betty over Annalee Call's attempts to disrupt his Xenomorph breeding program. After the confrontation turned violent and the Betty crew killed most of the guards present, the soldier attempted to force the mercenaries to stand down by holding his Shockrifle on Christie from behind. Unfortunately, Christie performed a trick shot, ricocheting a bullet off of two cylindrical structures on the ceiling and sending the round straight down through the top of the soldier's helmet, killing him before he could react.
Equipment
The soldier carried a standard issue Lacrima 99 Shockrifle without the underbarrel attachment, notably holding the weapon to the back of Christie's head in an attempt to force the Betty crew to drop their weapons.
Trivia
- The character is never named in the film or its novelization, and is simply credited as "Soldier shot through helmet".
