Snake,[4] also known as the Shadow Predator,[5] was a Yautja encountered by Mike Harrigan aboard the Yautja Mother Ship hidden beneath Los Angeles in 1997. He was an associate of the Los Angeles hunting party.

Biography[]

Hailing from the infamous Serpent Clan, the Snake Predator specializes in close combat and quick precision strikes. A product of the Yautja underworld, Snake was raised in an environment where the greatest threats were often those closest to him, including his younger brother, Viper. After being trained in the deadly arts, Snake went on to become a master assassin for his clan, accepting secret missions from anyone influential enough to barter his services.

Elders would often employ his talents in order to gain leverage over an opposing clan, extending their wealth and power. Armed with unique double-blade hand scythes, Snake has no use for clunky plasmacasters, which allows his attacks to be silent and undetectable. Though not a true member of the Lost Tribe, Snake is occassionally tasked to oversee and assist with their hunts, since their leader, Greyback, also has a debt to the Serpent Clan, a debt that is to be repaid in highly coveted off-world trophies.

Snake and his clan mates were mostly absent from the conflict in Los Angeles during 1997, but they confronted Harrigan aboard their ship after he defeated the City Hunter in a hand-to-hand duel. Seeing that Harrigan had won an honorable battle, they spared him, collecting the City Hunter's body while the party's leader Greyback honored the detective with an ancient flintlock pistol. Harrigan escaped the ship before the Predators left Earth. A notable trait was his shorter hair and animal furs that adorned his armor/gear.

Snake was also the older brother of Viper, a prolific mercenary and leader of the Serpent Clan.[6]
