Shane Black is an American actor, writer, producer and director. Black portrayed Rick Hawkins in the film Predator.

Black is perhaps most famous for his high-profile action movie screenplays, of which he wrote several during the 1980s and 90s, including story work on the 1989 film Lethal Weapon 2 featuring Mark Rolston, and the script for the 1993 film Last Action Hero starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Charles Dance.
