Selkirk was a 22nd-century human who survived the initial crash landing on PCW9512. In addition, he took part in ending the established Hive on the planet.

Biography

Proverbs 13:4

While aboard the Nova Maru, Selkirk was the cook who dedicated his life to God. While his faith was often the butt of jokes, he was still rather friendly towards the crew. One day, whilst the crew ate their food, Hold Four had been breached and their Captain, Foss, went to take care of the disturbance.

As the Captain arrived at the door he began to rant about the "danger" killing one of his crew. Selkirk was then forced into an uneasy alliance with the Captain, eventually piloting the escape pod towards the planet.

Romans 14:8

Selkirk and the Captain unfortunately had little food after crash landing. Selkirk was to fish and continue working on the escape pod as the Captain lay in wait for him. After capturing and eating one of the flying creatures on the planet the two became sick.

With Foss's waining mental health becoming a problem, Selkirk tried to radio for someone only for the Captain to attempt to murder him. After a brief scuffle Selkirk killed Foss with a screwdriver and, out of desperation, resorted to cannibalism.

Psalm 91:11

After a few days of dry food and the last bit of water, Selkirk, on the verge of death, was found by the ship's First Officer, Dean. She, along with Selkirk, decided to travel to the ship in order to escape, but they eventually met with several of Maru's Demons. After fighting the Xenomorphs the two tumble down a waterfall. Once awakening from the fall, Dean enacted her plan and the two made a run for the ship, only for Selkirk to trip and see a decayed and chestbursted Boyd.

Peter 2:4

Selkirk then tumbled into the hive, witnessing all the hell below him. Making his way towards the last bit of the ship and arming himself, he reunited with a badly-damaged Dean, discovering that she was an android. Upon deactivating Dean, Selkirk rigged the ship to explode. While in the grasp of a Xenomorph, he prayed to The Lord for peace before blowing up the Maru, killing himself and every Xenomorph aboard the vessel.

Personality & Traits

Selkirk was a very devout man who believed in The Lord to the fullest extent. He was always rather respectful and never instigated fights, being more or less a very decent man. However, after the landing, his sense of morality was put to the test. He wound up murdering Foss and eating his body, lusting after Dean, and killing numerous Xenomorphs. Nevertheless, he still knew he had wronged in his life and prayed for his soul and his crew mates before making the ultimate sacrifice.

Equipment

Selkirk wielded an unspecified machine gun during most of his survival. He would eventually gain a flamethrower and pistol during his last assault, and utilized a makeshift remote explosive for his final stand.
