The RT-01 Transport is a heavy armoured vehicle which is used to ferry the crew of the Prometheus  from and back to the ship. It is produced by Weyland Corp. It is similar in design to (and probably a precursor to) the M577 APC. There were five of these rovers on board the Prometheus. The RT Series Group Transport's shape-memory alloy wheel system has nano-reinforced hard-composite treads that resist temperaturesup to 2000°F. Its ceramic gas turbine engine has .4 million pounds of thrust making its cargo weight virtually unlimited. With an 5.7 meter wheelbase, the personnel bay fits up to 20 occupants.

PrometheusEdit

In Prometheus, they were first seen traveling with the crew to the temple at high speeds, and seen coming back to the Prometheus just before the storm hit. It was later seen when the mutated Fifield attacked and was run over by one before being killed despite being damaged by the mutant in process. They were again seen on the second expedition, and the last four were presumably destroyed in the explosion.
