Differences from the Film
Edit
- Dutch's team are far more bloodthirsty in the book, said to actively enjoy slaughtering the guerrilla rebels.
- Additionally, Billy is said to possess psychic powers. This is only hinted at in the film, where he appears to have something of a sixth sense that alerts him to the Jungle Hunter's presence.
- The Predator in the film is almost totally different from the creature seen in the films. It is a shapeshifter that can control the mind of any animal on Earth except humans, and can see through the eyes of any creature it possesses. In its basic form, it appears far more like the original rejected design used on the production of Predator, and its only weaponry is a spear. Furthermore, it does not hunt out of honor or sport, rather it kills humans because it wishes to learn more about them.
