Praetorian Huggers were first seen in Aliens versus Predator: Extinction.

AppearanceEdit

They are larger and more dureable than a normal Facehugger, sporting 45 hp to the standard 15 hp. They weren't as spider-like, and blood red in coloration.

InformationEdit

In the game, if a Queen was lost, a Praetorian facehugger was a player's only chance of creating a new one. They are purebred aliens, meaning any host infected would always bring forth a Praetorian and inherit none of the Host's DNA or take any of its characteristics.

An normal Egg could molt into a Praetorian Egg to create such huggers. If a Queen was already in place a Praetorian could molt into a Ravager or a Carrier, two larger and powerful Super Aliens.
