A planetoid, or minor planet, is an astronomical object in direct orbit around a star that is neither a dwarf planet nor exclusively classified as a comet.

Colonization Edit

Many planetoids have been conquered since 2151. In the Solar System, Ceres and Pluto were the only one colonized, many others being just visited and explored. In the Zeta2 Reticuli system, Cer08 CoculK7 and Makeuto were the only one colonized, being many others explored or visited.

Appearances Edit

In Alien, LV-426 is considered a planetoid. However, in Aliens, LV-426 is revealed to be a moon.
