While working at Dark Horse, Norwood also drew the Star Wars short story Walkabout, featuring a rare adventure of a young Luke Skywalker, for Dark Horse Presents Annual 1999.
Norwood eventually shifted his career to focus more on feature film storyboarding, going on become one of the most successful artists in the field and serving as a storyboard artist and visual art supervisor on a huge number of prominent Hollywood science fiction films and animated series of the 1980s and 1990s.
Norwood's impressive list of film and television credits include: Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, Star Trek III: The Search for Spock, Terminator: Judgement Day, Cocoon, Howard the Duck, Heavy Metal, The Abyss (directed by James Cameron), Honey I Shrunk the Kids, Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country, Batman: The Animated Series, True Lies (directed by Cameron), The Chronicles of Riddick and of Alien vs. Predator. Most recently he has worked on James Cameron's Avatar and Tron: Legacy.
