Otto Finch was a colonist and prospector living at Hadley's Hope on Acheron. He was the brother of Curtis Finch.

Otto did not adapt well to life on a remote, barren colony world and was wracked with paranoia about an impending disaster he feared would claim his life. This paranoia eventually led him to have an acute mental breakdown. He was shot by Sergeant Draper when he threatened Private Yousseff's life.
