Lost Contact is a DLC expansion for the 2014 video game Alien: Isolation. As with the majority of Isolation's DLC packs, it expands the game's Survivor mode, introducing new maps and a new playable character. Set before the events of the main game, it enables players to take control of Axel as he struggles to survive on the hostile Sevastopol Station.
Much like the previous DLC pack, Lost Contact includes only a single new map tied to the game's Salvage Mode, which offers players the chance to venture out of their safe room repeatedly in order to complete further missions, but at added risk of being killed. Despite Axel being the suggested playable character, players can choose from a selection of characters (including Ricardo, Hughes, Ransome and Amanda Ripley), each of whom start with different weapons and equipment.
Lost Contact was the sixth piece of DLC for the game, released on February 11, 2015.
