Lisbeth Hutchins was a colonist who, in 2179, was kidnapped while in hypersleep by the Weyland-Yutani Corporation and taken aboard the USS Legato, presumably for the purpose of Xenomorph experimentation or breeding.
Lisbeth was impregnated with a Chestburster on the Legato, but before she died as a result of the birth she activated the ship's self destruct system and destroyed the vessel, killing all the remaining Weyland-Yutani personnel and Xenomorph specimens on board.
At some point prior to waking on the Legato, Lisbeth was taught to shoot by her father. In 2179, Lisbeth and her family, along with her friend Ethan, set out as colonists. They were all abducted at some point by Weyland-Yutani to be used for Xenomorph research aboard the Legato.
On the Legato and deathEdit
After being taken aboard the Legato in stasis by Weyland-Yutani Lisbeth woke with a Facehugger attached to her face. After removing the Facehugger and exiting her stasis tube she saw a female colonist getting killed by a Weyland-Yutani PMC with a M240 Incinerator Unit. After taking cover she met up with Ethan who also awoke with a Facehugger on his face he told Lisbeth that she must find her parents and escape the ship. After a Chestburster emerged from Ethan's chest Lisbeth proceeded through the ship avoiding PMCs and sentry turrets.
Lisbeth eventually met up with a man named Andrews, who used a terminal to locate "his girl" and Lisbeth's parents who were in Level-3 Bay-4. Andrews also noticed a Motion Tracker in the room, which Andrews told Lisbeth to pick up. After proceeding through the ship they came to a locked door and Lisbeth started to pick up movement on her tracker and the two hid inside some lockers in the room. A Warrior jumped down into the room from the ceiling and almost discovered Lisbeth in her locker, but Andrews made a sound inside his locker and the Warrior ripped the door off the locker and killed him with a Headbite. The Warrior was soon killed by a Weyland-Yutani employee who in turn was knocked out by Stone.
After going though more secured pathways Lisbeth takes out two Weyland-Yutani PMCs guarding the doors to the umbilical with the help of two Facehuggers. She then separates to search for her parents while Stone and Turk board the Sulaco to search for military help. Lisbeth finds both her parents dead and begins to collapse with pain then realizing that she is impregnated like Ethan was. Nothing else to lose, she contacts Stone and tells him that she going to blow up the Legato. She activated the ship's self-destruct system by removing the coolant just before the Chestburster inside her began to emerge. As she fell to the ground in pain, a few Xenomorphs arrived and watched Lisbeth, just before the ship explodes, killing Lisbeth.
Personality and TraitsEdit
Determined to make it off the Legato, Lisbeth wasn't going to let the horrors of what she had seen on the ship deter her from finding her family. After finding her parents' bodies and realizing she was living on borrowed time herself, Lisbeth was determined to destroy the Legato and deal a blow to Weyland-Yutani.
While on the Legato, Lisbeth used several pieces of equipment while looking for her family. One of the pieces of equipment she used was the M314 Motion Tracker. For defense against the Weyland-Yutani personnel and the Xenomorphs, Lisbeth used several weapons including the M39 Submachine Gun, M37A2 Pump Shotgun, M240 Incinerator Unit.
- Lisbeth's face is never revealed in the single player campaign, but can be easily seen during co-op or during death animations.
- Lisbeth's voice actress is Stephanie Lemelin, who is also known as the voice of Misty from Call Of Duty: Black Ops II's Zombies mode.
