Karen Sneddon was the Science Officer aboard the deep space mining vessel DSMO Marion. She was serving on the ship above LV-178 in 2159 when the miners on the planet below stumbled upon a large number of Xenomorphs deep underground in the mines. The incident eventually led to the destruction of the Marion and the loss of all but one of its crew.

Sneddon was impregnated with a Chestburster while in the mining complex on LV-178, and later killed herself on the Marion with an explosive charge as the creature began to emerge from her chest.

BiographyEdit

Early lifeEdit

Sneddon took an apprenticeship with the Weyland-Yutani Corporation on Mars, after which she worked in several different research installations for the company, including one orbiting Proxima Centauri.

Personality and TraitsEdit

Sneddon was quiet, curious and cautious. She was fascinated by the Xenomorphs even after being impregnated by them. She was awed by what the group found in the mines and started filming as well taking photos, showing that she wished to document the events, she also desired to reveal it all so that the group could become famous for the discovery, however, taking the photos caused her to forget to be aware of the surroundings which was in the egg chamber and thus allowed a Facehugger to spring out from an Egg and take her by surprise.
