Jones was a Synthetic Marine in 2192 and a crew member of The Benedict. She was running the proximity sensor at the time The Benedict was hijacked by mercenaries. She was killed and betrayed by her CO Colonel Stephens when he shot her dead when she spotted another ship as it approached The Benedict, which Stephens had secretly been guiding in.
