John Elbert Workman (born June 20, 1950) is an American comic book editor, writer, artist, designer and letterer who lettered the comic adaptation of Alien for Heavy Metal Communications. He has also lettered several comic books in Dark Horse Comics' Aliens and Predator lines; this makes Workman one of only two people to work on both the original, pre-Dark Horse Alien comic book adaptation and the later Aliens, Predator and Aliens vs. Predator comics published by Dark Horse (the other being artist Walt Simonson).
