John Nadeau (born 1971) is an American comic book artist who has provided interior art for several comic books in Dark Horse Comics' Aliens line.

Biography[]

In the comics field, Nadeau is best known for a number of arcs as artist of the popular Dark Horse Star Wars title Star Wars X-Wing - Rogue Squadron in the mid-1990s, following his work on Aliens. Nadeau was the most regular artist on the series.

He also worked on numerous other Star Wars titles from 1996-2000 including Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi, Boba Fett, Shadows of the Empire, Republic, Star Wars Tales and the Star Wars Handbook series. For a number of these, Nadeau provided both interior illustrations and painted cover art.

With a particular expertise in futuristic technology and vehicle designs, Nadeau has also worked as a concept artist, theme park designer and illustrator.

Nadeau started working in the comics field in the early 1990s for AC comics on FemForce, Wall of Flesh and Miss Victory before moving on to Secret Weapons from Valiant Comics and then to Dark Horse. Nadeau also drew Wolverine #83 in 1994 for Marvel Comics and co-illustrated Green Lantern Annual #8 in 1999 for DC Comics.

The Nadeau-illustrated one-shot Star Wars comic Boba Fett: Twin Engines of Destruction won a 1998 reader polls as the Best Individual Star Wars comic in Topps' official Star Wars magazine (UK), with a total vote tally reportedly in excess of 200,000 people.

Nadeau is based out of the greater Orlando, FL-area.
