Doctor[2] Graeme Miller was an engineer who took part in a Weyland Industries expedition to Bouvetøya, Antarctica in 2004 to investigate an ancient Pyramid buried beneath the ice there. The Pyramid was discovered to be a Yautja temple and hunting ground where the Predators would breed Xenomorphs for use in their Hunts, and the expedition soon became caught up in the battle between the two species.

Miller was captured by the Xenomorphs and cocooned, dying when the Chestburster inside him emerged. His body was later found by Lex Woods.

BiographyEdit

Working for WeylandEdit

Miller befriended Lex during the ride aboard Weyland 14. However, once aboard the Piper Maru his obvious inexperience in the field meant he was not so warmly welcomed by many of the other personnel on the expedition. In particular, Verheiden took a strong dislike to Miller when he caught him playing around in one of the snow cats to be used by the team to cross the Antarctic ice.[2]

Inside the pyramidEdit

"This is like finding Moses' DVD collection..."
Miller, regarding the contents of the sarcophagus (from Alien vs. Predator)

Once inside the pyramid beneath Bouvetøya, Miller was fascinated by the human remains discovered in the sacrificial chamber, noting the expert way in which several of the spinal columns had been removed from their victims.[2] His fascination grew when the team discovered the Yautja Plasmacasters inside the sarcophagus deep within the structure, recognizing that the ancient technology was far beyond anything any culture of the time would have been able to produce. Despite warning against it, Miller was unable to stop Stafford and his men taking the Plasmacasters, thereby triggering the periodic rearranging of the pyramid.

Capture and deathEdit

"I got a son."
"Yeah, I've got two. That means we do not have the luxury of quitting!"

When the group was ambushed by the three Yautja who had travelled to the pyramid and the structure shifted again, Miller was trapped in a small antechamber with Verheiden. After rallying the despondent mercenary to push on towards an exit, the two men entered a maze of confined tunnels deep within the pyramid. Again Miller was separated by the shifting structure, and now that he was also he was quickly taken by a Xenomorph.

Miller awoke in the Hive built by the Xenomorphs in the sacrificial chamber, cocooned to the wall between Verheiden and Connors, the former of whom had a Facehugger attached to him, while the latter had already been killed by the Chestburster he had incubated. Seeing an Egg open in front of him and anticipating what was to come, Miller managed to get a hold of Verheiden's Desert Eagle, still in the cocooned mercenary's holster, and used it to kill the emerging Facehugger before it could pounce. Miller's relief was short lived, as several other Eggs in the room promptly opened and the emerging Facehuggers swarmed and overcame him, despite his attempts to shoot them.

Miller's corpse was later found by Lex and Scar when they entered the Hive to destroy it, his chest having been ripped open by a Chestburster.

Personality and TraitsEdit

Miller, to Verheiden (from Alien vs. Predator Unrated Edition)

Cheerful, optimistic and friendly, Miller was deeply devoted to his two sons, and saw the expedition to Bouvetøya as a chance to prove that he was more adventurous than they gave him credit for. However, he was inexperienced in the field and very naive, facts that did not endear him to Stafford's mercenaries, particularly Verheiden, who took an instant dislike to Miller.

EquipmentEdit

Graeme briefly used Verheiden's Desert Eagle against the Facehuggers in the Hive, but was quickly overwhelmed and subdued.
