Gateway Station was an immense spacestation which orbited Earth in the late twenty-second century. Gateway Station functioned as a loading station for Earthbound cargo and most commercial organisations had a representative anboard, including both the ICC and ECA. Ellen Ripley spent several months aboard Gateway Station on her return from Acheron (LV-426) in 2179.
