"Where, man? I don't see shit."
Francis was a survivor aboard Sevastopol Station.
Francis was a member of a group of survivors during the Xenomorph outbreak on the station. Along with Peterson and a third unnamed survivor, he was trapped in Seegson Synthetics. Shortly before Ripley encounters the group, they were ambushed by a group of looters and lost a member of their team. Ripley overheard Peterson panicking after the incident, with Francis having to calm him down.
Francis eventually managed to get into contact with another survivor named Mahoney, presumably being a member of the group. They were informed by Mahoney that they could power up the elevator with the help of a Working Joe. Peterson immediately reacted angrily to the suggestion, asking Mahoney if he was insane. Francis concurred, mentioning how the Joes had started attacking people. Mahoney explained that the synthetics are friendly unless someone does something unauthorised. Francis seemingly agreed to the suggestion, but after hanging up, he called Mahoney an "asshole."
Amanda then overheard Francis and Peterson mentioning how they heard an explosion somewhere close by (which Amanda herself was nearly killed by). Peterson eventually figured that it was probably Waits, as he had been setting up traps for the Xenomorph. Peterson also mentioned that Waits had a safe haven in the Colonial Marshal Bureau headquarters and that they could go there for protection. Francis however responded that the "Crazy fucker's blowing stuff up. No thanks." Meanwhile, Amanda sneaked past the group.
Shortly afterward, the Xenomorph Drone appeared from the ventilation shaft above the group. Francis immediately warned Peterson and the third survivor just as the Drone dropped down and landed on them, dragging them aside and swiftly killing them before turning to face Francis. Francis, frozen in fear, hesitates for a brief moment before firing a single shot at the Drone as it immediately seizes him and takes him into the vents.
Like many survivors on Sevastopol, Francis carried a .357 Revolver. When the Drone attacked the group, he fired a single shot at the creature in an attempt to ward it off. This was entirely ineffective and he was subsequently disarmed and captured by the Drone.
