I'm starting to think after watching Prometheus a couple of times, that the black fluid maybe a type of nanotechnology that can copy, re-write and add different types of DNA together, thus allowing for a truly adaptible xenomorph. And looking at the begining of Prometheus, we (humans) share our beginnings as the Aliens (Xenomorphs) do.

I don't think they are nanos but I know they are inorgainic because of the fact that the studies done on them both in and out of universe have shown them to be.--WAVE ^{(talk) (Contribs)} 22:47, June 15, 2012 (UTC)
