Steve C. Perry[1] (born August 31, 1947) is an American television writer and science fiction author who wrote the novels Aliens: Earth Hive, Aliens: Nightmare Asylum and Predator: Turnabout, as well as the short story Rematch for the anthology Predator: If It Bleeds. He also co-wrote the novels Aliens: The Female War and Aliens vs. Predator: Prey with his daughter S. D. Perry.

Perry has also written books in the Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Conan the Barbarian universes, as well as all of the Tom Clancy's Net Force series. However, he is perhaps best known for his original Matador series. He is a practitioner of the martial art Silat, which inspired him to create the fictional martial arts Sumito and Teräs Käsi, both of which are essentially fictionalized versions of Silat.
