Tusked Xenomorphs are a variation of the mainstream Xenomorph. They were the attack dogs of the Killer Yautja Bad Bloods.

Tusked Chestburster

The Chestburster, unlike other Chestbursters, is tusked similar to the adults. It emerges from a Human, meaning the Tusked Xenomorphs are not a host-dependent variation.

Adult form[]

The tusked Xenomorphs heavily resembled the standard Xenomorph, the main differences between the two being their anatomy and colors. While Xenomorphs are more insectoid in appearance, the Tusked Xenomorph affects more of a crustacean-like visage, particularly on its head, which is neither domed nor ridged, but plated. Though mostly black, reddish hues can be seen on their jaws, heads, hands, feet, tails, and dorsal spines. The most notable difference is the tusks which jut out and down like a pair of mandibles.

Known Encounters[]

An infestation of Tusked Xenomorphs overran a giant necropolis trillions of miles from Earth on a planet named Chione.

Later, the Tusked Xenomorphs were used as hounds to assail the human colonists the Killer Yautja chose as prey. After the Ryushi Hunters and Machiko Noguchi managed to capture a native Queen Xenomorph, however, the Xenomorphs abandoned their loyalties to the Killers and turned on them.

Trivia[]

  • The Tusked Xenomorphs appear to represent a unique subspecies. Their tusks represent a previously unknown phenotype within the species.
  • The Ryushi Queen, a standard Xenomorph, accepts the Tusked variation without hassle. This may because her brood had all been killed and they were lacking a queen, otherwise the two would have been hostile towards each other and rivals.
  • The Hell-Hounds used by the Tracker Super Predator are a similar concept.
