Predator: Invaders From the Fourth Dimension is a one-shot comic book that was first published by Dark Horse Comics in July 1994. It was written by Jerry Prosser, pencilled by Jim Somerville, inked by Brian Garvey, colored by Ray Murtaugh, lettered by Clem Robins, and edited by Robert Boyd, with cover art by Somerville. The story is an homage to 1950s sci-fi/alien invasion movies.
In Dark Horse's Predator comics line, Predator: Invaders From the Fourth Dimension was preceded by Predator: Bad Blood (series), and was followed by Dark Horse Classics - Predator: Jungle Tales.
Publisher's Summary[]
It's 1959, and Hollywood is spewing out dozens of grade-Z alien invasion movies. But what happens when a real invader from outer space shows up in the back lot of a movie studio? Predator lands in Hollywood when he's hunting for some new talent, and the only roles these actors are getting are dead-end parts!
With the aid of special glasses, 11-year-old Tommy Anderson is the only one who can see the Predator. But can this over-imaginative boy convince adults that there's really a murderous monster stalking him? It's mayhem at the drive-in when Predator comes a-huntin'!

Predator: Invaders From the Fourth Dimension was eventually collected as part of Predator Omnibus: Volume 2 in February 2008.
The comic was released digitally through Dark Horse Digital on April 3, 2013, reusing Jim Somerville's cover art.
Marvel Comics[]
Following Marvel Comics' acquisition of the rights to Predator comic books, the comic was collected as part of Marvel's Predator: The Original Years Omnibus Volume 1 collection, alongside many other early Dark Horse stories. The collection was released on December 27, 2022.
Behind the Scenes[]
Invaders from the Fourth Dimension marked a brief end to the flurry of Predator publishing at Dark Horse Comics that began with Predator: Concrete Jungle in 1989 and continued uninterrupted until this point. It was followed by a two year break in new Predator stories.
The lull would come to an end in 1996 with Predator: 1718, which was followed by a number of series and one-shots.
