Mark A. Nelson (born 1953) is an American comic book writer and artist who has worked on several comic books in Dark Horse Comics' Aliens line; Nelson is notable for having provided art for Aliens: Outbreak, the original comic that helped make the line so popular.
Nelson's incredibly detailed and atmospheric work was originally presented in black and white, but was later colored for subsequent reprintings. Nelson would go on to work on a number of subsequent Aliens stories, working on five different stories in total.
