The Mutated Yautja was a Blooded Yautja that had become exposed to Chemical A0-3959X.91 – 15 when bitten by the mutated Construct Elden. After receiving the injury, the hunter painfully mutated into an Anathema of bestial proportions within minutes.
Characteristics and Traits[]
Initially appearing as a typical Yautja, the unnamed hunter soon became subject to a heavy mutation following exposure to the black liquid, and had mutated so violently that it only vaguely resembled that of its species. The mutant is easily three heads taller than the average male and it's eyes are pure black, similar to Elden's or the Engineer species. It also possessed an extra arm that grew out of its left shoulder.
The mutant was hideously strong, able to tear a Yautja's arm off with just it's raw strength and break a bio-helmet in half with a single punch. Instead of four mandibles, ten of them surround the mouth, of which could break through a Yautja skull with a single bite. The mutant seemed to have trouble breathing following the mutation.
Biography[]
Hunt on the Geryon and battle with Elden[]
The hunter prior to his mutation.
Pre-mutation, the mutated Yautja was once an accomplished hunter and member of a hunting party that also belonged to Ahab. The party itself was on a remote planet hunting game before they set their sights on the Geryon, perhaps noticing the mutated construct Elden, currently on a rampage inside the ship to be worthy game. The Predators soon reached the Geryon and invaded the ship. The hunter subsequently encountered Elden alongside two others in the depths of the ship, and a fight ensued. Though Elden quickly overpowered a Predator, the hunter tackled Elden from behind. Elden subsequently grew a large maw over his abdomen and bit the Predator's hand, the hunter recoiling in pain as the fight continued.

Eventually, the last hunter standing realized that he was outmatched and ceased fighting Elden, instead branding him with the mark of a warrior. Elden refused the offer of a trophy and took his leave. Meanwhile the hunter that was bitten by Elden began mutating violently.
Pathogenic mutation[]

As another Predator eventually stumbled across the hunter, he revealed himself as a hulking monstrosity, and the latter killed the Predator by ripping its arm clean off and biting a chunk off its face, killing it. The mutant proceeded to eat the corpse. It soon turned its attention to several Xenomorph that surrounded him after equipping itself with its foe's Plasmacaster.
Elden and Francis defeat the Mutated Yautja.
After dealing with the Xenomorphs, the Mutant encountered a heavily mutated Francis Lane and attacked him. Although Francis managed to bite off several mandibles, the mutant responded by breaking both of his arms and punching his jaw so hard that it broke in half (before promptly regenerating). Elden eventually rescued Francis and the two defeated the mutant by pulling both of its arms apart, with Francis ending the Yautja's rampancy by stabbing it with a lead pipe.
Trivia[]
- Prior to its mutation, the mutant possessed a bio-mask visibly similar to that of the Berserker Predator, having a jawbone on its helmet.
- The Mutated Yautja shares similar traits with the Upgrade Predator, both standing several feet taller than a typical Yautja and possessing exceptional strength.
