The Gunnison Hive was a Xenomorph Hive and was the main breeding ground for the Xenomorph infestation that took place in Gunnison, Colorado in 2004.

In 2004, a Hive was established by a young Predalien Queen within the sewers of Gunnison, followed by a larger one in the county's hospital by a Predalien and Xenomorphs birthed from the town inhabitants. The Hive consisted of many Drones.
The Sewer Hive is where the Predalien made its initial nest. It had three cocooned victims and was occupied by at least eight Xenomorphs, six of which hatched from within the Hive. The Hive was discovered by Wolf during his investigation and attempt to eradicate the Xenomorph threat. After discovering the Hive, Wolf disintegrates the bodies and Hive resin. Due to a misfire, Wolf unwittingly allowed the Predalien and Xenomorph Drones to escape into town.
The next Hive was established in a Hospital and was the largest of the two Hives, made up largely of the hospital staff and patients. Wolf, and later a team of survivors led by Dallas Howard, both fight the Xenomorphs there, encountering the Predalien and taking the battle to the rooftops.
The Hives were eventually destroyed when a nuclear bomb was dropped on the town in an effort to stop the Xenomorph infestation from spreading. It is assumed that all of the Xenomorphs inhabiting them were incinerated in the process.

Trivia[]
- The Predalien and at least the eldest of her Warriors are ostensibly from two different hives. The Yautja spacecraft occupied by Bull and his partner were transporting Facehuggers that didn't appear to be from the hive established in the Antarctic Pyramid. That hive was completely destroyed, save for the Predalien, meaning that the Predalien must've "adopted" these Queen-less aliens somehow. This isn't the first instance of this happened. On Ryushi, the Queen adoptes the Tusked Xenomorphs from the Killers and they turned on their Yautja masters.
