"I am a hybrid, a chimera of machine and monster. I posses the cool logic of one and the primal instincts of the other. I will protect my friends, my brood, from those who would harm us. Survival is everything."
Eloise (from Aliens: Purge)

Eloise, commonly referred to as Ellie, was an experimental, vat-grown Xenomorph-android prototype created by Doctor Fred Lichtner.

Eloise would later go rogue and form her own brood of Xenomorphs on the planet LK176, attacking any intruders who disrupted her peace.

Characteristics[]

APEloise

Appearance-wise, Eloise was largely human. She wore clothes, could speak, and was as sapient and complex as any other individual. She only began to differ around her arms and back, which reflected her Xenomorph DNA. Her hands were shaped like the Xenomorph claws, and found on the Xenomorphs and her back possessed dorsal spines protruding from it.

Eloise's hybrid nature granted her tremendous strength, speed, and agility - both stemming from her android and Xenomorph nature. Her Queen DNA allowed her to form a telepathic bond with other Xenomorphs, making them subservient by instinct alone. Owing to her intelligence, she could make even the smallest group of Xenomorphs dangerously efficient and well-organized, to the point where she and her brood could overwhelm an entire hunting party of Yautja with relative ease. She was also proficient in handling fire-arms as well as piloting space shuttles.

Biography[]

Eloise was an experimental, Vat-grown Xenomorph android prototype created by Doctor Fred Lichtner at the Adullam Facility on planet Sybaris 503. By infecting a Xenomorph egg with a biological computer virus using leprosy spores as a protective carrier medium, Dr. Lichtner was able to delete and rewrite specific DNA chains, causing the egg to grow into a humanoid android instead of a Xenomorph. Eloise wound up being an unexpected product of an early attempt at this, becoming a valuable asset to Dr. Lichtner in his studies of Xenomorphs, as well as his studies in dry leprosy and how the disease could somehow retard the final development stage of a Xenomorph embryo after it had been implanted in a human host. After the research facility was bought by the Adelaide and Bombay holdings Alliance however, a severely hostile takeover was enacted, save for Eloise who was deemed a worthwhile asset for the organization. Per her android nature, Eloise was at first willing to comply to her new Alliance masters, but when Xenomorphs and lepers began being killed, she experienced their pain and her xenomorph queen DNA asserted itself. Slaughtering countless Alliance personnel, Eloise led both surviving xenomorphs and lepers against the Alliance.

On the run[]

"She is sick of running. She warns that if another unit is sent after her, she'll consider it an act of war, a war we'll never win. And, sir, I believe her."
Lotus Hernandez regarding Eloise (from Aliens vs. Predator: Pursuit)

Emerging victorious, Eloise and her brood took the Alliance transport ship to find a home for themselves, leaving behind just enough Xenomorph eggs and alliance personnel to give any further Alliance Investigation teams a nasty surprise. Eloise and her brood later settled on the highly tropical planet LK176, after having been pursued from star system to star system by Alliance teams. Their travels had unfortunately also attracted the attention of the Yautja, who were highly intent on exterminating Eloise and her brood. When another alliance team tracked Eloise to LK176 however, they found themselves met with both predator opposition as well as Eloise's Xenomorph brood. In the end, Eloise led her Xenomorphs in an overwhelming victory against both the alliance and predator forces. She left one Alliance member alive, Lotus Hernandez, to inform their superiors with surety, that she and her brood simply wish to live in peace and solidarity; any further actions against her would be interpreted as declaration of war, one that the alliance would never win.

Personality and Traits[]

"Men consider it evil, but it is simply doing what it does. That it does it so well is where the fear lies. I do not fear the Alien...I love it."
Eloise regarding the Xenomorphs (from Aliens: Purge)

Eloise, being part Xenomorph, had nothing to fear from the creatures, admitting that she actually "loved" them and deeply cared for their safety. She possessed the cool calculating personality of a synthetic as well as the instinctual bloodlust and survivalist nature of a Xenomorph queen.

Due to her prototype nature, Eloise was never programmed with the proper android behavioral inhibitors, making her able to disobey orders and assert her own will. She dutifully cared for the impregnated lepers and their 'children', becoming something of a mother figure to them.
