Major Dunya was a member of the Iron Bears, she is a minor antagonist in Aliens versus Predator 2 and the playable human protagonist in the 2001 video game Aliens versus Predator 2: Primal Hunt.
Biography[]
Dunya was one of Rykov's closest confidantes, trusted to run his illicit smuggling operation on LV-1201.
Stealing the Artifact[]
On September 21, 2230, Dunya was sent to investigate the Zeta Site along with Serge and Becker.[1] She acquired the Artifact[2] and, alongside the many Corporates, evacuated Pod 5 before Rykov destroyed it.[3]
The Incident[]
On November 23, she handed smuggler Jonas Richter his Ovomorph shipment to be sent away aboard the Aurora[4]. When Richter failed to secure the egg, the resulting outbreak caused the Primary Operations Complex to be completely overrun with Xenomorphs.[5][6] Dunya later blamed herself for not taking sufficient precautions with the Egg.[7]
Dimitri's death[]
On January 6, 2231, Colonial Marines arrived to investigate the situation. When Corporal Harrison disabled the security network in the tunnels connecting the POC to the Pods, he inadvertently disabled the security at the Pods themselves as well.[8][9] Dunya's fiancé Dimitri was killed[9] when Harrison shut off the security grid that was connecting the POC to the Pods and the Xenomorphs swarmed in and attacked.[10] As a result, Dunya blamed Harrison for his death. She knocked him out and placed him with the convicts used as Xenomorph hosts by Weyland-Yutani.[9] However, Harrison managed to escape the Pods.[11] After Rykov died, Dunya replaced him as leader of the Iron Bears.[12]
Apparent survival post-LV-1201[]
On July 12, 2231, half a year after the destruction of W-Y's facilities on LV-1201, Dunya and several other Iron Bears kidnapped Weyland-Yutani's top biological weapons scientist from his quarters on Gateway Station. Several more W-Y officials, including the lead researcher at the New Brazil WD plant, were reported missing during the day.[12]

Trivia[]
- Dunya was originally going to be fought in the Marine campaign's 6th level ("Loose Ends").[13]
- In multipayer, Dunya's class is 'Trooper' and her class weapons are Combat knife, M4A4 Pistol, M240 Incinerator Unit and WY-102 Sniper Rifle.
