Coca-Cola, more commonly referred to as Coke, was a carbonated soft drink sold in stores, restaurants, and vending machines throughout the world.[1] It was produced by The Coca-Cola Company of Atlanta, Georgia, and was often referred to simply as Coke (a registered trademark of The Coca-Cola Company in the United States since March 27, 1944). Originally intended as a patent medicine when it was invented in the late 19th century by John Pemberton, Coca-Cola was bought out by businessman Asa Griggs Candler, whose marketing tactics led Coke to its dominance of the world soft-drink market throughout the 20th century. Coca-Cola was available bottled to the custodial staff of the Fiorina 161 Class C Work Correctional Unit, and also available at the National Data Corporation's Charybdis complex on LV-991, where it was served in cans alongside cheeseburgers.

Trivia[]

  • A behind the scenes pictures from Aliens shows an upside down Coca-Cola crate next to the full-size Power Loader. Presumably, it was being used as a stool to allow a crew member to perform maintenance on the Power Loader.
