- "No one requests to come down here unless they're looking for a reputation."
- ―Det. Lt. Harrigan (from Predator 2)
Alvarado Precinct was a Los Angeles Police Department precinct in Los Angeles, falling under the jurisdiction of Metro Command division.[1] Detective Lieutenant Mike Harrigan's team was based at Alavarado in 1997.
Overview[]
Alvarado was known to be one of the worst precincts in the city, located in one of the most crime-ridden areas.[1] Its exterior was dominated by the large concrete pylons designed to prevent the building from being targeted by car bombings, installed after a truck bombing at L.A. Central killed over a hundred people.[2] Inside, it was overcrowded, understaffed and ravaged by excessive heat thanks to the building's inadequate (and largely faulty) air conditioning system.
