Aliens: Pig is a one-shot comic book that was first published by Dark Horse Comics in March 1997. It was written by Chuck Dixon, pencilled by Henry Flint, inked by Andrew Pepoy, colored by Cary Porter, lettered by Steve Dutro, and edited by Ian Stude and Randy Stradley, with cover art by Chris Scalf.
In the Aliens comics line, Aliens: Pig was preceded by Aliens: Headhunters, and was followed by Aliens: Border Lines.
Publisher's Summary[]
Stitch and his band of space pirates have designs on looting the wreckage of a crashed ore tug before the rightful owners can arrive to salvage the valuable cargo. The problem: a nest of Aliens has set up housekeeping near the wrecked tug. Stitch's solution: a cute little pig carrying a low-yield nuke wired to a remote detonator. Not since Babe has so much rested on the outcome of a porker's performance. How about a little bacon with your Alien eggs?

Aliens: Pig was eventually collected as part of Aliens Omnibus: Volume 6 in December 2008.
The comic was released digitally through Dark Horse Digital on August 7, 2013, reusing Chris Scalf's cover art.
Marvel Comics[]
Following Marvel Comics' acquisition of the rights to Alien comic books, the comic was collected as part of Marvel's Aliens: The Original Years Volume 3 collection, alongside many other later Dark Horse stories. The collection was released on November 22, 2022.
Behind the Scenes[]
Pig writer Chuck Dixon also wrote the Predator story Predator: The Pride at Nghasa. In the comics field, Dixon is perhaps most known for his work with DC Comics and in particular for his work with Batman in his time as writer of the flagship title Detective Comics.
Artist Henry Flint is a seasoned Judge Dredd artist, and worked on the crossover series Judge Dredd versus Aliens: Incubus. He also co-created the popular series Zombo.
