Commander Eric Izzard, better known as "Pop", was a member of the United States Colonial Marine Corps. He was in command of the Weyland-Yutani Berserker hunter/killer team dispatched to DS 949 in response to the Xenomorph outbreak there.
Despite being a Marine and on fairly good terms with his team, Pop's loyalties lay firmly with Weyland-Yutani, to the point where he was willing to sacrifice his entire team at the company's request, albiet reluctantly. Pops attempted to convince Lara to join him but she refused. He was subdued by a Facehugger aboard DS 949 and left to his fate by Lara, although he perished when the station was destroyed by his own nuclear bomb, before a Chestburster could be implanted within him.
