Alien vs. Predator: Whoever Wins...We Lose was a limited release promotional mini-comic book published by Dark Horse Comics in 2005 exclusively for inclusion with the Alien vs. Predator Unrated Edition DVD, available only at Best Buy. The issue reprinted three short stories from 1999's Aliens vs. Predator: Annual #1 and featured an adapted version of the Annual's cover by artist Jae Lee.

This reprint issue was never offered for individual sale anywhere else.

The mini-comic included the stories "Hell-Bent," "Lefty’s Revenge" and "Chained to Life and Death" from the Annual. These stories were also later collected and reprinted in Aliens vs. Predator Omnibus: Volume 2 (Oct. 2007).

In the AVP comics line, the Whoever Wins...We Lose reprint issue was followed by Alien vs. Predator: Civilized Beasts (2006). In terms of promotional DVD-set minicomics, it was followed by Alien vs. Predator: Sand Trap (2007).

Behind the ScenesEdit

The minicomic's name of course came from the well-known tagline for 2004's AVP film.
